Vin, attempted edit of inclusion of this gives me this error and I dont know enough HTML to make work. Once the Buy Beer code is removed the error is gone? This is such a great gift though would luv to include it, please overlook.

Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
XML error message: The element type "b:includable" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "".

Austen Michael,

Find the b:includable tag in your code and see whether there is a corresponding matching end tag like this :

If not add it.

I have the same predicament as Austen Michael. I'm sorry but I dont know where to put the includable whatever in the code. Im not very familiar with XML or HTML so please if you may help me in a more clear way? Thanks a lot.

The includable tags are only seen when you click the Expand Widget Templates checkbox on top of the Template Code box.

This puts a checkmark in that box and the page refreshes to show the detailed widget templates.

Each widget will have the first line like this :

<b:widget id=....

This line will be followed by this line :

<b:includable id='main'>

Then comes all the widget code followed by closing the includable tag with this line :

Then the widget code last line which is :

It took me a while, but I finally got it. I didn't see the "find" on the bottom, so it made it hard trying to find where I am suppose to put it.

Thanks Vin

I ran a search, but couldn't find the instructions for changing the beer mug icon to the cup of coffee. I changed the word beer in all the code, but how do I change the image?

Vin said...

Save the image to your PC by right clicking it and choose Save As. Then upload it to

Copy the Direct Link of the image at Photobucket and paste it in the code instead of the RED code : URL OF BEER MUG IMAGE

Hi, Vin. I put the code in an html widget in the sidebar of my blog, but the picture wouldn't load -- just a box with a question mark in it. I loaded a smaller icon into my photobucket album, but then the link completely disappeared. Now, the only thing that shows is the link to my paypal account in the phrase, buy me a cup of coffee. When I went to edit the html, I noticed there were two sources for the icon, and when I deleted one, reloaded and went back and rechecked the html, they were both gone. I'd really like the icon, too. Any thoughts? Thanks.
